eNeRGy Rooftops Ensure Climate Precision at Pharmaceutical Plant in Frosinone

Project Overview

A pharmaceutical production facility in the province of Frosinone required a high-efficiency HVAC solution to support its clean and controlled manufacturing environment. The system had to meet stringent comfort and air quality requirements while remaining compliant with national incentive schemes such as the Conto Termico.

To address these needs, Redge supplied two eNeRGy rooftop units with a total cooling capacity of 340 kW and a combined airflow of 32,000 m³/h. These models featured inverter-driven compressors and EC fans across supply, return, and condenser sections, ensuring precise climate control and optimal energy performance.

Challenges

Pharmaceutical environments demand more than just temperature regulation---they require:

  • Stable airflow and pressure conditions

  • Tight humidity control

  • Minimal system variability

  • Consistency across long operating periods

The system also had to qualify for the Conto Termico incentive program, which imposes strict criteria for seasonal energy performance and equipment conformity. Finally, the site required a flexible solution that could accommodate future system upgrades without full replacement.

Redge Solution

Redge deployed two eNeRGy rooftop units, each configured for high-precision operation. Key system features included:

  • Inverter-driven compressors for variable cooling output

  • EC fans on all airflow sections to reduce consumption and enhance responsiveness

  • Integrated regulation designed to meet Italian seasonal efficiency standards

This installation was among the final eNeRGy rooftop deployments in Italy, serving as a bridge to Redge's EVIO rooftop platform, which further advances efficiency, acoustic performance, and compliance.

The eNeRGy rooftops enabled the site to meet all operational and compliance requirements, while establishing a scalable platform for the future.
