Six Rooftop Units Commissioned for High-Precision Aerospace Paint Reprocessing Facility

Project Overview

In Pibrac, France, Redge delivered a multi-zone HVAC solution for a new aerospace facility focused on industrial paint recovery and treatment. The installation included six high-capacity rooftop units, designed to deliver over 500 kW of heating and cooling capacity across distinct work areas.

This new-build project demanded year-round performance with zone-specific precision---ensuring both climate comfort and process stability. The entire system is managed through a centralized control platform, enabling synchronized operation and streamlined maintenance.

Challenges

To meet the facility's specialized operational needs, Redge was tasked with implementing a scalable HVAC infrastructure capable of:

  • Conditioning six independent zones with distinct load profiles

  • Delivering over 500 kW of combined thermal capacity

  • Supporting centralized management and diagnostics

  • Operating within a sensitive industrial environment

With strict environmental and chemical controls in place, it was essential that the system provide uniform ventilation and highly stable temperatures.

Redge Solution

Redge engineered and supplied six rooftop systems configured for independent zone management, all integrated under a unified Lennox control interface. Each rooftop unit included:

  • Integrated filtration and energy-optimized EC fan technology

  • R32 refrigerant, offering high efficiency with low GWP

  • Pre-configured control communication for seamless centralized oversight

  • Structural adaptability for rapid rooftop integration without design delays

This approach minimized installation complexity, accelerated commissioning, and aligned with the facility's long-term energy strategy.
