Project Overview
Logoplaste's facility in Castelo Branco manufactures rigid plastic packaging for essential products. As an industrial production environment, the site requires dependable climate control to support workforce comfort while maintaining suitable conditions for day-to-day manufacturing activities.
Industrial buildings present different HVAC requirements from commercial facilities. Production areas often require continuous ventilation alongside effective temperature control to create a comfortable working environment. Fresh air renewal is also an important consideration in occupied manufacturing spaces, helping to maintain appropriate indoor conditions throughout production.
The project required an integrated HVAC solution capable of supporting both comfort conditions and ventilation within the production environment. Rather than relying on a single type of equipment, the installation combined chillers with a rooftop unit to address the different demands of the facility.
Redge Solution
The project incorporates two Redge GAC chillers alongside one Redge EVIO rooftop unit, with each product performing a specific role within the overall HVAC installation.
1. Redge GAC080SP1M Chiller
The GAC080SP1M forms part of the chilled-water system serving the facility. Together with the second chiller, it contributes to maintaining the comfort conditions required within the manufacturing environment.

The GAC210DP1M complements the chilled-water installation, providing additional cooling capacity as part of the complete HVAC solution supporting the industrial facility.
3. Redge EVIO Ev360AH160DPF1 Rooftop Unit
The EVIO Ev360AH160DPF1 rooftop unit provides climate control and fresh air renewal for the production area. By combining heating, cooling and ventilation functions within a rooftop system, the unit supports a comfortable working environment while ensuring continuous air renewal within the manufacturing space.
